That’s a tough one. I love solving mysteries. I’m the movie viewer who wants the character to go into the dark room and the mysterious cave because I want to know what’s on the other side. But I see romance as a reward for overcoming fear and being guided by the need to find the best in ourselves. Of course, writing romance is not the same as writing sex—though it’s intertwined. Writing sex scenes has its own challenges.
Everywhere. I see a situation, and if I can’t let go, I explore it and ask—you guessed it—What If? Then I let my imagination loose.
